Joseph F. Ocampo


Engr. Joseph F. Ocampo has 10 years of solid experience in using GIS application and Database Management. He is instrumental in putting together the NWIN GUI (graphical user interface), the NWIN and the KALAHI-CIDSS websites which included data warehousing as a major component by utilizing Microsoft .NET Framework (ASP.NET, ADO.NET) and MS SQL 2000 server as back-end database. These websites include GIS application using open source InovaGIS 3.1 component to publish spatial maps over the web. He also has several experiences in hydrological projects and studies.

Joseph’s expertise in GIS application and Database programming and hydrological studies were evident in projects such as Study on the Existing Drainage Laterals in Metro Manila, Strengthening of Flood Forecasting and Warning Administration: Baseline Study on Pampanga and Agno Rivers for Flood Forecasting and Warning Operation, Iloilo Flood Control Project, Strengthening of Flood Forecasting and Warning Administration: Baseline Study on Cagayan and Bicol Rivers for Flood Forecasting and Warning Operation, Bohol Integrated Water Supply System Master Plan Project, Pinatubo Hazard Urgent Mitigation Project – Phase III and the E-ARMM System
